Euro Camp JEEP 2005

Camp JEEP in France was once again a wonderfull experience.
The location was a vineyard in the south of France close to Carcassonne, a terrain which is used not only for wine but also for test driving rallye and 4x4 cars. This time we took the Grand Cherokee for a spin and it's amazing what a car this size can do, although a bit low to the ground, but no worries a 2" lift is already in the garage, we did not encounter any problems. (Besides the soft Pirelli Tyres which are absolutely not fit for any 4x4 driving at all.)

The organisation was a bit French but as good as ever with all the different themes to please everybody. The Commander and Hurricane where shown, and of course the New Grand Cherokee which was available for a test drive in a nice 4x4 spot.

The programme was pretty full and also the different tracks were sometimes very demanding especially for those which participated the first time. Some steep up and downhill passages and a lot of rocks, and DUST.
To clean of the dust a sailing trip was included on 47 ft yachts. One of the highlights of this trip.
We did not take that many pictures, mostly film. I'am trying to put some film on this site soon.
